11.7V at idle shows its either battery or alternator fault?

Is 11.7v when it's idling or when it's not under any loading.
If it's idling then something amiss with charging side, ( alternator/diode pack etc etc ).
If it's when it's just stood there under no load then it's a battery problem, and, possibly still a charging problem.
If you've got a battery charger then charge the battery up and see what it's like afterwards, might well point you in the right direction.

If it turns over very slowly then it could also be a failing starter. Might be fine when cold and knackered when hot. It is a known problem with Magnetti Marelli starters. They draw too much current and kill the battery.
Your battery voltage is about 1V too low. With the engine running it should be around 14V. With the car 'asleep' and being checked at least 4 hours after last use it should be at least 12.2V. You need to wait 4 hours to allow the charge state to settle again.

If however its turning over easily then it could be injectors.
Mine would start fine from cold but would crank but not fire when warm.
Had 2 faulty (leaky) injectors..
Has your fuel consumption gone up???
