I unlocked the car with the key fob and went to get in and noticed the indicator light (on the front drivers side wing) was flashing
Got in the car but the indicators weren't on nor the hazard lights (and neither was the ignition).
Put the keys in ignition and all starts fine. Try the hazards but they don't come on. Try the indicator stalk up and down but nothing comes on (but the wing light was still flashing although I didn't go round the car to see of they were all flashing)
All other electrics seemed ok. after about a mile of driving tried the indicators and hazards and all were working

Went to the shops locked the car, came out ten mins later, all fine. Went out this evening, locked the car came back three hours later all fine
I thought maybe battery voltage issue (new battery and alternator been fitted within the last six months) so Ive hooked it up to the battery charger/conditioner overnight

Thoughts?

I've had battery voltage issues and all sorts of issues are created from this one issue... and it appears each vehicle has its own set of favourite failures...
so, as a precaution, I bought an LED mini voltage meter that lives under the bonnet & constantly reads...
If the voltage when the vehicle is off/idle settles around 12.4 volts or less.....EXPECT ISSUES
ranging from lighting failures, suspension fault warnings, indicators flashing, alternate reversing lights flashing etc etc....

The computers of these fat ladies LIKE plenty of volts......
