hi everyone,
maybe I am missing something but is it possible that my voice command button only works the telephone functions? I have the professional sat nav upgrade however the voice command will not work anything else.
any help would be appreciated
thank you
Ron

On the nav screen on the left border the top icon turns voice commands on and off in Pro nav

hi,
thanks for the reply , I'm sorry I don't see that on my screen at all, I see the spoken instructions icon for the sat nav to give verbal instructions.

Did the car come with full voice control SA620 if not all you get is the telephone option?

As above, no option added at build then no extra commands.

just checked, it does not have sa620, is this something that can easily be retrofitted, or is all the hardware already there even and it needs a software mod ?
thanks for the replies

For anyone having issues, may be of help
I picked up my new car yesterday and it's got voice activation that works for the entertainment Bluetooth,Nav etc
Bonus was it wasn't advertised as having either, it's fully loaded

It can be added. BMW can do it, but may not co-operate. You need a licence key - called an FSC - based on your VIN. It is possible to diy it but that carries a risk of bricking the existing hardware. There is already a thread about this very item running.
