Hi guys,

This Friday the spray both is free at work so thought I'd get in there and give my wheels a freshen up, they need it as they have under previous ownership been cleaned by those bloody car wash people that use mild acids to clean the wheels and they have wrecked them by leaving the product on to long and it's destroyed the finish on the wheels.

So the choices are silver again or I was considering high gloss black as I have loads left from painting my 350Z GT4 wheels last year.

I have so far decided I would go the high gloss black route and if I don't like them go back to silver.

Here's my X5 how it looks at the min:

Here's how the finish turned out in the 350Z:

You could try Anthacite.....a dark gunmetal grey?

I did consider that route but I think it would be to much with my X5 already being a similar colour

Although I think the high gloss black looks very good against the bright yellow, I personally think it don't think it will look as good against the grey body work, and think a satin finish would give it a slightly more understated look.

But as you say easy enough to change if you don't like it.

I hear what your saying and I only decided to go the gloss route to match the rear lights and gloss black door/window trims.

But like you said I can easily change it so I might just have a play.
