hi all,

just wondering what i need to check the software version of my gearbox and do a software update

I bought a BMW scanner C310 a sometime ago gathering dust in the shed ... so dont know if that will at least give me the software version...

You will need something like dealer level access or an Autologic type device to do that.

Normal scanners won't be able to program.
However it should be able to tell you the version number though.

I'll check the versions first via the C310 to see if they are up to date
