I have a 2003 (53 ) plate 3.0i.

My dashboard has the full widescreen nav unit.

The radio works but I only have sound out of the front left speaker. Same when the nav gives instruction. I  suspect it is the radio output channels that have failed. My question is , where is the radio ?
Is it the whole unit on the dashboard ? If if is how do I get it out and can I get the radio unit separately or do I have to replace the entire unit or should I do something else.

Google BM54 unit

It's in the boot by the battery.

There is a company that can repair and upgrade it
Search on here as some have had it done with good results
