I paid £30 for mine off EBay, in 2012, there now going for as little as £9 from China. You will have to wait 3 weeks for some sellers from China though.

This is only an example, I'm in no way endorsing this seller

Auto locking is when you drive the car after getting into it and setting off, when you reach 12 mph it automatically operates the central locking, and locks the doors. ( anti carjacking ) if you then need to open a door whilst the cars engine is still running IE if a passenger is leaving, they can open a door by double operation of that doors internal door lever. On stopping the engine all the doors then unlock.

I have bought equipment on 2 occasions from the above, and can recommend. Unlike many suppliers Jimmy is helpful and in my experience is responsive to emails. Quality is good and at least you can be sure cables will work

I have one of these scanner units - as per the link a few mails up...
I paid about £25 for mine a while ago... but they are on Flea-Bay now for about £8:50 from China..
BUT
you will probably not get it before Christmas... Personally, I'm impatient & would make a good offer to our friend here & get it in 2 days lol.
The scanner is an excellent tool for chasing down gremlins & making additional stuff work that you'd normally have to pay the agent a fortune to do..
My next little task is to make the steering column retract... as well as raising when I switch off the engine..
Currently, she just lifts the steering wheel & I want it to retract as well, if it can be made to happen - we will soon see lol.
Regards
