Yes ordered one in the end, for the cost it will always come in handy.

Fitted coil overs so need to delete the self leveling suspension error message .

Thanks for the offer though :)

They are cheap for what they are and certainly cost effective to remove the self-level error from the dash compared to what an indy would charge.

Sorry for the slow reply, haven't check here for a few weeks.

After much deliberation I ended up purchasing a BC Racing BR Series Coil Over Kit as it seemed the best compromise between throwing endless amounts of money at the air suspension and cobbling together a shock/ spring kit from genuine BMW parts. Raj was kind enough to give me some advise regarding the change over so thought I would give it a go!

I was about to order from them direct from BC but then by pure chance found a company called KAM Racing that were £100 cheaper at the time (£77 cheaper now), great company to deal with, helpful, friendly and delivered on time. First time I had ordered off them but would do so again.

If anyone else is thinking of doing this heres the kit: http://www.kamracing.co.uk/car-tuning/b ... -2006.html

Fitting was straight forward enough, removed all the old air suspension components but didn't strip out the lines in case the next owner wants to go back to original. Kit came preset so have had it running that set up now for 3 months but will give it a tweak and lower it a bit more when I get a chance.

Ride is different, no quite so soft but the sportier feel suits me so I'm happy.  :)

In the office at the moment and the car is at home so will take a pic and add it on Monday.

Kit and front strut top adjustment below...
