Hi, have had a battery drain issue on my e53 for a while, the battery is under the LPG tank so took me a while to get round to testing it.... When all systems had shut down i had a draw of 1.7amps when I remove fuse 27 this drops to 0.05  any ideas what might cause the drain? The car originally had a TrafficMaster fitted, can I just remove the module? As I have read that these can cause a drain, Also there is paperwork for a tracker any idea where this would be located!?

When removing fuse 27 it also disconnected the parking sensors and air suspension, this was not indicated on the fuse label, any idea why that would be? Ps both work when fuse is replaced

You can remove or disconnect the TM unit with no problem.

Tracker (if fitted) could be anywhere if non-factory, but the original factory ones were in the left boot cubby with the Nav drive etc for a while until everybody realised that wasn't sensible!  Not exactly well hidden!  Current ones are more carefully concealed.  Could be behind a trim panel, in the dash, under the LPG tank (sorry).

...and when you do find it, check the voltage of its internal back up battery. Like those in house alarms, they don't last forever, and are really easy to replace if dud.
