Deed(s) done

Post by snipez999 » Thu Mar 24, 2016 12:32 am

It's changing time again.

OUT
2014 RR Sport autobiography (white)
2014 Bentley Conti V8S

IN
2016 RR Sport autobiography (Black - MY16.5 with the newly tweaked engine and other fine fettles)
2016 S63 AMG Coupe (white), specced to hiltus maximus

Pics follow.  RR collection 1 April; Merc on 8th.  Still got to shift the Bentley as bought Merc via web broker to get discount.  Spring is a better time to flog a soft top though so hopefully not carrying the added debt for too long!

Yes More pics pls

Love the exterior, love the colour combo, love the overall interior

interior im unsure about the 'all-lcd' display layout - looks geeky.. and flat not driver focused?

The interior/exterior colour combo is the same as they had on the Edition 1 special at launch last September so seemed a natural choice.  The black badges have been fitted by yours truly as couldn't stand the sight of chrome badges on a white and black car.  Exception being the large rear 'star' which is actually a flap for the rearview camera so I'm not pulling that off in error!
Only done 400 miles so can't comment much at moment.  Much like the Aston before it, though, it will be interesting in the wet with that much torque and RWD........
Stepped out after a 6 hour drive back from dealer last Friday and felt like I'd been in it for like 10 minutes.  Very comfortable.  Great massage selection.  More spacious than the Bentley; better equipped and probably more comfortable too - though not as good at clearing traffic in front of it (not many people know that the double grille line = AMG = shift).
Haven't looked at the instruction manual yet (well I am a bloke after all!) but lots of settings and features to choose from.  I have HUD which is really handy with the shift indicator selected (or will be when I can do more than 4500 rpm).  Only 'fail; for me thus far is what mode to put the central monitor in when driving as it seems a bit lost in anything but satnav/map mode.  Just a bit daft having a large screen with a small window on it showing radio channel selected.  Could be doing something more interesting/worthwhile.
But am loving the interior LED lighting effects and the (had to have it) magic control glass roof which tints to order.  Proper pimp.
More pics when it stops pishing down.
