Had the check low beam warning so I replaced the bulb this morning.  Still have intermittent Check park lights!  Checked all the bulbs, all look fine.  Connections look good as well.  Thought that I might try clear the fault using my scanner.  I've uprgarded my software to Windows 10.  Need the drivers?

Read the previous posts on the "check park lights" still not sure in the cause!

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Bought from halfords:

when i have replaced a blown bulb on mine, the dash warning message goes out permanently the next time the ignition is turned on. never had to clear codes with the scanner to clear the dash warning. although there is a record in the shadow memory of the bulb failure until cleared away.
sounds like you may have a bad contact somewhere, my nearside angel eye bulb sometimes shows an intermittent  fault. its a bad contact on the plug - if i wiggle it it comes on again and dash warning goes away.

Sounds like you've disturbed a connection whilst changing the headlight bulb as said. Good chance it's on the same headlight cluster but the front marker bulb. Maybe worth taking the bulb out and cleaning the connections.

Thank you, it's a lose connection.  Played around with the connector and the fault has gone, either that or to took an age to reckognise the bulb had been changed.

Side note, took it to BMW to have a look and they came back saying the near side low beam had gone as well! W don't have a bulb in, do you want to order one?  It will be £176!!!!!!  Hold on a minute it worked perfectly about two minute ago.  Turns the engine on, puts lights on. It works.  That mistake nearly cost me a few quid.  Morale of that story........
