Petrol filler cap

Does anyone know if the cap rubber seal and retaining strap can be bought anywhere. The one on the wifes car broke and i dropped it and thats when i found out the seal was perished as it fell out in little bits..

Hi
Try this link to real oem very helpful parts website for BMW
Used an 3.0d 2004 but appears from pic the cap is all one but double check

Febi bilstien do a replacement
upto 07/2002 p/no 45550
08/2002 on p/no 04102
your local motor factors should be able to get one no problems

I couldnt fint the seal or retaining strap so I called Elms BMW. Only available as whole cap- £22. Ordered.
