Hi,

Will the wide arch kit (2 front, 2 rear) from a bmw x5 be53 4.6is fit a 4.8is model?
i.e. is there a difference between prefacelift and facelift wide arch kits?

i'm planning on getting mine from my 4.8is painted, but they have deep some scuffs on them.
I can get a cheap set from a 4.6is, so I was thinking of buying those and getting them painted.
Then bolting them on.

As far as I know the arches are the same on the 4.6i and4.8i but worth checking part no on realoem site. Just do a Google search and put your vin in or search by car type.

Make sure if your has aluminium sidesteps that the donor car has them as the fitments and part no are different.

And for info the front bumpers are different between the two.

Yeah they're the same. Will need to buy some plastic rivets to get them back on though.
