PVR, would love to do something like this, but sadly don't have a suitable car or a suitably understaning OH :headbang: Mind you I do know of a certain small orange kit car :poke: that would work very well on that trip, but I guess it is still tucked up in its garage :fuelfire: ;)

I've done one of his runs before and my car caused all sorts of trouble and arguments over whose sounded the nicest in the tunnels (which is clearly mine)

Don't think you would survive the driving ... 170 mph+ on the German motorways, top down, might be a little too much for the orange ... :poke:

Can't make this one as I'll be several thousand miles further East and South....... 8-)

Not that the X6 would be able to keep up at 170+ anyway :(

Managed that for about 10 minutes in Germany until other cars were about again (don't overtake with that differential). Got to 172 on the GPS with still a bit more to go if the road had been clearer for longer.

Top down as well ...

Just got back, what a trip again and what lovely weather!

Got the M at 172 GPS on the motorway, top down. Great to use the car what it was designed for ...

Lunch stop on the way there (we arrived in different convoys).

Lunch stop on day 1, we were the only ones there. Great hospitality of the owner there, very chatty lady.

All Z drivers or former Z drivers that had changed their cars.
