Just purchased my first ever X5. Quite a bit of a jump up from my Mini Cooper S  )

The pics of your car look good and I can understand why you would buy it as good condition cars are harder to find. It probably won't handle as well as you old Mini Cooper  ) but it's pretty good for a 4x4.

There a lot of great help and advice one here and hope you enjoy your new car
