Hi guys - anyone know what the standard bulb is for angel eyes on a 2004 4.8IS ?

Mine has aftermarket LED's I think as they flash on startup and have an extra connector in them that means making them work can be interesting  :(

Back to standard they go once I know what standard is  O:-)

There was a thread on here not so long ago said you could cancel the cold check, spoke to my local indy and he said "not a chance" can anyone give a little more detail on how to cancel if it is possible. I'm still in the sad bracket who check the lights by walking round on a regular basis so wouldn't miss the cold check.

No internet due to house renovation means ive only just seen this - something ill have a play with at some point !

Will it just disable the bulb out warning for the angel eyes or all lights ?

Don't know how I missed your post Horizon, that is very helpful, not that I have a BMW 1.4 but I have a mate with GT1, so I assume he will be able to do this. Thanks again.

If you untick the cold check it will stop the flashing on startup,  it still warn you if a bulb goes when it switched on.
Only circuit affected is the one unticked /ticked. Other lights are unaffected if left ticked.
Cold check is done on start up, hot check is done whilst the said lights are in use.
The flashing on startup is the cold check.

Thats even better, didn't realise that it still warned of light/bulb failure. Can't possibly justify spending any more money on diagnostics tools. Have VCDS for vw, brilliant, Carsoft, not brilliant, Foxwell NT644, very impressed. I might dig out the Carsoft again and see if it has the facility.

Scanner 1.4.0 available for a tenner these days, I had a laptop running XP just for the car. B**ch to set up, but superb value for money
