Hi all,
just got a parking light bulb warning up on dash on my 3.0d facelift, should both front clear parking lights be on or just the off side?
cheers

Both.  'Parking lights' are the sidelights in the UK.  If side lights are selected you should have lights at all four corners.

If it's a facelift with projector headlights / angel eyes, i guess it will be the front marker light, are they yellow in colour, or a white light.

A lot of German cars have the capability to just have either the n/s or O/s parking lights working indipendantly by leaving the indicator stork left in the indicator position when the car is parked, also I believe that if the front sidelight bulb blows, the indicator bulb is utilised to provide marking lights.
Turn on the sidelights only on the switch and see if the angel eyes, and rear sidelights light up as they should.
