I have a Dynavin N6 fitted plus the standard head unit in the boot. Both show identical time, click over on the hour together. BUT I get an hourly chime via the OBC 10/12 seconds before the hour, where is it coming from, what is generating it??
Next, one of my rear door puddle lights comes on when the door is opened to the first spring, when you go fully opened the light goes out. Can anyone save me a load of hassle trying to find out why, I'll fix it, I just want to go down the easy route with all the knowledge on here.

There was a chime function in the MID/OBC unit so it may be coming from that?

But wouldn't that be in sync with the OBC clock?

The chime occurs 15 seconds before the hour change.  No idea why BMW did it that way, but that's how it works. ???
