When it says ended, it means that part number is no longer used, see the part number underneath, also listed as #2 glow plug controller.
This is the current part number that supersedes the origin part number.

When you click on it it states that it supersedes part number ending 327, which is the one that says ended.

That was answered quite recently as I recall. Do a search. Plugs are about£15 each. Due to the labour cost it is (probably) better to do all of them rather than 3 now and 3 in two months time but depends on cash flow obviously. The control unit is circa £80. Labour is circa £250 depending on where you go

yeah i will deffo get all 6 done. my indy charges £50 per hour and they have done alot on my x5 (rear brake pipes/exhaust manifold/full service inc transfer and diff oils) so im pretty confident they will be ok with the job.

Although the full list, the data on REALOEM is USD as the data is hosted there and mainly for the US market so we just get the advantage of being able to get parts data from it.

Frequently parts not used in the US market don't have a price offered.  A search on this side of the pond against a part number should (if life has any fairness) get you some sort of price to work from  :)

Shreksta,.... I just recently did my glow plugs and control unit myself,..it wasn't a big job ( and I'm not a mechanic )..
It does involve taking the inlet manifold off and a small part of the bulk-head (air -vents) for access but there's no hellish difficult parts to remove.
I just have a fairly basic set of spanners and a good socket set.
Once the inlet manifold is off its so easy to locate the parts to remove,..but I would say to take readings (multimeter) from each power lead going to your glow plugs before you replace them incase its only the control unit thats faulty as mines was. ( the readings from a Bosche diagnostic machine showed 1,2,3 and 4 glow plugs faulty but it was infact the control unit itself that was buggered. All my glow plugs were fine and had already been changed by previous owners.
Took me about an hour an half to remove and replace everything.

I did my controller and all plugs recently, 100 quid from eBay (or 110) for plugs, controller and plug paste, all genuine beru. Changed the air intake gaskets to, square and round, although old ones were in good nick and didnt need to, but for 9 quid, I did, again another eBay bargain.

119 for the lot diy, just make sure you habe a torque wrench so manifold and plugs can be torqued to spec, don't want to over do them.

Also, if diy, you can use the opportunity to clean the inlet manifold, map sensor, EGR and give her a nice clean intake to breath easier.
