New RF tyre advice please

Post by PioneerSSM » Thu Feb 23, 2017 8:45 pm

Hi All
I make no apologies for this request, yes I know this subject has been done to death. However tyres and specs are constantly changing. Therefore I looking for some current advice on RFs. I Am currently running Contis cros contact RFs, they seem to suit my driving style and I don't find them either to firm or lacking in any measurable way. I'm happy with all round performance. National tyres are asking £129 a corner for: Continental Cross Contact LX Sport M0.
Any views experiences, suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Steve

That seems incredibly cheap but I can't find anything about this particular tyre that fits my E70.  It  has 255x50x19 107V on the fronts and 285x45x19 111V on the rears,  National quote over £220 for each fitted and can't supply the same Contis front and rear.  I'm currently running Goodyear F1 from Campskill.  What size are your tyres - perhaps check Campskill's prices but you'd have to add fitting charges on top!

Hi Graeme
My 18 inch Conti SSRs seem to be the cheapest tyres around. I ve just done a search for your size on National tyres and unbelievably they are £220 for contis. Incredible the difference. perhaps I should hang onto my 18 inch wheels and save myself a small fortune every 20k miles.
