First post so go easy. I am searching the forum for a workshop manual. Cannot seem to find one or my search string is rubbish. Does the forum have one or recommend one please. A link or recommendation would be appreciated.

The only manual worth getting is published by Bentley.  It's for US Models.  No RHD UK version has ever been produced.  Good thing these forums are here to help 

Yes Bentley is the one (£70 ish), but does NOT cover diesels

Bentley also not great for facelift N62 v8 engines. Pre facelift engine detail is far more comprehensive

Thanks for the replies. I have bought Bentley before for another marque as a group buy. Good book but a tad pricey  as you say. They need to remove the BMW tax. I have tried the e bay and pdf route previously and the definition seems poor for the ones I have bought. Could be wrong on the BMW one.
I have just agreed a deal for a 2005 4.4 sport. Hopefully picking it up next week. Not being snobbish but just love petrol machines. Lawnmower, strimmer, leaf blower chainsaw and log splitter all petrol.

I shall do some more research.
