Do you tell your insurer when fitting winter tyres and does it impact your cover

Well do you? Some insurers require you to notify them and it might impact the level of cover. This document was taken off the Association of British insurers website today so I believe it to be up to date but obviously you have to do your own checking with your own insurer

Great find  :ok:

Glad to see mine need no contact and it makes no difference to the premium.  :)

+1 I'm with Axa, I also asked them if I had to inform them if I changed to non Runflats on the 330i when I first bought it, they said it didn't matter as long as they were the correct speed and load rating.
I've put winters on my X3 as I only do about 5k a year, so it saves me having 2 sets.
Also as we've just bought a caravan it should be better on grass and the muddy stuff  (M&S ❄️)
