Bluetooth Music Connectivity

Hi Guys,

In my previous E90 I was able to stream music from my iPhone via Bluetooth through to the car speakers.

I now don't seem to be able to do this in the E70, is this something I can enable?

How old is your E70?

Music streaming came in on the E70 during 2010 I think?

I had the same issue, and it isn't as seamless as the later BMWs but I just use a Bluetooth adapter and stream via the aux input. It doesn't do the full integration but does the job if you organise your playlist

I've got 6FL and have been using a spare iPhone 5 as a media device as I like to use Audible.
However, the novelty of having to remember my 2nd phone is wearing thin, so I have bought one of these to plug into my 6FL

It should be here before the end of the week, I'll report back with the results.

Rickz

Go here and put your vin number in (last 7 characters) and see what your car was built with.
You'll get a better idea of what should work and how.

I've got a 2010 facelift 40d and don't have the ability to bluetooth stream, obviously not a standard feature. I think I need a 'combox' which I don't have.

Not too bothered as there's loads of other ways to connect!

It was crap, didn't work as I expected it to so I bought a Tune2Air and that was brilliant.

I say was, because I was mugged at a dealer and traded in the X6 so the Tune2Air is available for a substantial discount rickz.
If you don't want it let me know and I'll put it up on the marketplace  :)

So the tune 2 air worked with steering wheel controls and was in the display screen?

How much are you looking for it?

Cheers

Steering controls for fully, and all ID3 tags on the screen. I used it with an iPhone 6 and it even put the title and run time of my Audible app on the screen.
£50 delivered if you want it.
