Fitted a set to my summer wheels today. Not looking for recommendations on any other brands of tyres as there are many many many posts, but would like to know specifically if anyone else has used these and what they thought of them and why.

Well I needed new tyres and have mate who runs a tyre fitting centre. But he is mate first and foremost and never tries to sell to me, and in fact I usually go to a different place, but decided to give him a shot.
I have tried Vredestein, Goodyear and Bridgestone in the past for summer tyres and red and next for the water. Im not going to turn this into a tyre recommendation post as we have far too many of those, but all the brands listed were fine as far as Im concerned. If you're buying tyres do the research and draw your own conclusions - We all have different driving styles and conditions.
So he and I had a long discussion. He told me that the cooper tyre comes with a 30,000 mile guarantee - the guarantee not being against punctures or excessive what due to tracking, under/over inflation etc but that they will not wear down to minimum in 30k. Now I do a lot of mileage and can often eat tyres - in the last tend days Ive done almost 2000 miles nipping around the country.Yes, 2000.
Previously i had worn tyres out in 20-25k miles so I thought I would give it a go. I pointed out that I switch between summer and winter tyres so how could I claim as and when I had done 30k miles on those tyres. HE advised that that wants a problem - as an authorised Cooper dealer he records the mileage when fitted and he will sap over winters and summers (only charging me for wheel balancing as required when swapping over) and will re-record the mileage.
£490 supplied, balanced and fitted inclusive of VAT (285/45/19 rear and 255/50/19 front)
So I thought as I was in the market for tyres (the rear had two nails in it, and the rest wee on the minimum), it was worth a shot .......

Yes absolutely. No problems and quiet, although they will be coming off the car soon as I will be switching over to the winter wheels and tyres (Vredestein Wintac Xtreme if I recall correctly)
