Hi all went to get my tracking  done but the left side was stuck and would not move , as the car was on the ramp I noticed  that
the right hand side drive shaft gater was of and leaking,
Now on my way home the dsc light came on, my question is could the drive shaft  gater have any thing to do with the light coming on ???

Ps the tracking wasn't done

Should  have  done a search first as the steering wheel  is now off centre quite a but it might be the sensor ???

A half decent alignment shop should know that a 4x4 will have all sorts of problems with off set steering, would have been better off putting it back to where it was till you unseize it. Bad boot shouldn't bring on DSC. It will bring on plenty of other problems if it isn't replaced quickly. Worth ensuring the joint isn't full of road crap before replacing boot.

Might be better to chop the shaft for a new one.  You can buy complete shaft kits if you don’t fancy having a go yourself.

And as above, I would have made very sure that everything moved before adjusting any of them.  Sending a car out again in that state is not a sign of professionals.
