Have you got speed camera alerts as if you've turned them off it will change language unless you've set defaults by Resler or other means? When you turn them back on it will go back to English.

If not on the Nav set up screen you can put it back to English.

The only way I know is to use a Resler with Navcoder which I have and change the defaults to English then you can turn the things off otherwise you'll be saying "speed camera ahead" in your sleep :-)

If your going to the meet and I get there I can do it for you.

Yep I'm sure he has one. I can lend you mine if you like but you will need Navcoder on a lap top to use it.

Hi blo2was

I have exactly the same issue......and am also away the date of the meet unfortunately.....

I've looked to buy a resler tonight but is showing out of stock....so may have to wait for another meet and hopefully a kind xdriver to stop the camera warning ringing in my ears or having to learn French... :-)

Hi Penny
That's really kind - thanks. I've googled Navcoder and see you can download it...so that's that solved! So yes, I would like to borrow your resler please. I'll send you a PM...

Just a thought...whereabouts are you? Perhaps we could do this together in one go? I am based near Swindon, Wilts.

Hi Penny,

are you going to bring the resler and nav coder to the Bristol meet?

If you are would it be possible to sort the my nav out to english with cameras on or off?

Another question does the sound still go quieter when you get near a camera?

Hi

I do intend to go to the meet with both Resler and Navcoder unless something dire turns up :-)

Yes when changing the language it will enable you to turn it on and off. IIRC it still lowers sound when your near a camera with alerts off which is a right pain :-(. It's been that long since I've turned off the alerts but I'm sure it lowers.

There must be a way to turn it off completely but I've not bothered to look on the net.

Penny
