Never really had any great luck with ebay badges, so now tend to work on the principle that if the first set lasted 10 years plus then it's worth paying a few extra quid and try for genuine.

i bought some in November 2017 on Ebay for £8.00
they are very good quality, the seller now though is not on .
Id say if good feedback and selling lots of them then save some cash.
They have been through a bad winter here and daily salty air on them.

I doubt there are any genuine ones on eBay, I bought some last July and they’ve had it already but you can’t complain for 6 or 7 quid! Think I’ll get genuine ones next though

I bought mine of ebay around 4 years ago, they has the bmw logo and part number on the inside......I think I paid under £20. Not sure if there real but still look brand new.
I will try and see if I can go back that far on my account

When you say a set, do you mean wheel set or bonnet and boot?

Thanks guys,
Your comments are very welcome and all interesting.
BMW Aberdeen have quoted £104 for Bonnet / Boot and wheels. It is my partners Birthday on May 01 so I have to be careful on the cost comparison. £15 v £104 will looks a bit like funny looks and a fight.

The issue with E-bay is the claim to OEM parts with packing having the part number on. I want the quality of the original. I can see the conflicts from the members over quality.

Alan I did not realise there was a forum discount. I think BMW Hereford is well worth a shout. How do you get forum discount.

I did it through another forum with a site sponsor.
Never looked if we have any on here.
I use this forum as well.

If you message cotswoldbmwmini on here and ask for a price they will message you back with a price and how to pay, once you’ve dealt with one of the sales guys and got his email address you can just email direct and they’ll put the 10% discount on, seems a lot of the time my local dealer can’t beat the price
