After replacing the rear disc brake shoes on the X5, I am struggling to replace the springs.
I somehow (by luck) managed on pass side but driver side is proving difficult, so gave up after 30 min not wanting to shred my hands in the process.
Whats the best way to get or stretch the springs into place. Is there a recommended tool to do this?

Re: Best way to re-install the rear brake shoe springs?
Don't put both ends of the shoes in place only one end.
Put the spring on then pry the shoes back to where they go and then put the pin's in.
I hope you can understand me as i can't think of any other way to explain.
