Rear Subframe

Mine is a rusty mess, so my next project is to change it in conjunction with needing some bushes. Bought a cheap replacement in lreland of all places as I’m over there next week and can pick it up, get it blasted and powder coated, fit bushes and hopefully cut down on down time. Replace rear brake lines whilst in there. Going to put the diff in an electrolysis bath to de-rust, got one blasted in the past with disastrous results. I just know though that it won’t be that simple, I’ll see other things that will add time, have to wait on a part etc etc.
Then do the front, problem is, my head can do it but is badly let down by the body. It’s just that I really do want to have a look at the front prop splines to see what they are like after nearly 150k.

All a bit of a pain but quite nice when you see it all shiny every now and again when it’s up on the ramp!

Don’t panic! They’ll be painted when the ramp is back up at work, our new business premises came with a 2 post Bradbury ramp so I will be in underbody painting heaven in a couple of weeks  :))
