I have a problem with my TV screen, when the ignition is turned on you can see the screen change colour slightly but nothing else happens. All of the functions appear to work (the lady behind the dash keeps telling me to turn left) but no pics. Any ideas guys? Cheers

Try disconecting and re conecting the battery about 10 -20mins later it may just need a reset hopefully.

After a bit of investigation, I thought that the problem was the Sat Nav unit packing in, as the Mk III units are apparently prone to having hysterics if there is a voltage spike in the system. Plenty of them after refitting the engine   .
So bought a Mk IV and fitted that as apparently they are a bit more robust. But I should have investigated further as when you get a blank screen with a dead sat nav unit, then the radio goes off after 2 minutes, but mine stopped on. So still no pics. :headbang: :headbang:
However my truck is fitted with a Traffic Master unit which can also pack in. This is easily bypassed by disconnecting the blue connector on the wiring tail, disconnecting the blue plug on the TV module, and connecting the male connector from the tail into the TV unit.
All working now, and it appears I didnt need a new Sat Nav unit :( . But I do have a better map picture, and in 3D as well
