New eyes fitted

Having had about 6 months travel and over 1000 miles in my X5 I decided to treat it to some new eyes as the others were looking quite dated.
I bought a pair of Depo Angel eyes off the bay of e and fitting was easy. Just plug and play. They are not xenon but still improve the front end in my view.
A new bonnet badge helps improve the overall look.
Oh and yesterday the mpg clicked up to 16.4mpg, so improving all the time

I just bought a set of angel eyes for my E70 as well as the originals are yellow light and about 1 candle power. Those ones look nice and bright.

Hi Leslie
I saw some yellow angel eyes on eBay from a U.K. supplier but was looking for the bright white ones. Thankfully I found what I was looking for.
I know the Depo name after friends have used the same brand. I did see other makes but wasn’t sure of the quality.

Any reason why you cannot go down the xenon road (fit conversion kit), would cost about £30all in, as I have done to my 2002 e53 with splittable headlights

Hi Lez
Thanks for the info. I was told it would be more than that as I would have to get the control unit for xenon lamps which was about £100 second hand.
That was the only reason. Hey ho. I'll stick with what I have.
By the way yours look good. Where did you get the lamp protectors from?
