Parking brake

Post by shaunguitar » Sun Feb 07, 2021 6:00 pm

Parked up on a slope today on the ice, applied the parking brake but the car started sliding away after I’d got out. No harm down, I got in and stopped it okay. Mines an auto Xdrive. Is there any way to lock the front wheels when parking up? Ta.

Putting it in Park should lock the transmission front and back as it locks the gearbox. Other than that a chock is about all I can think of if it’s going to slide not much else you can do.
