Morning I’m looking at a 2014 2.0d f25 tomorrow and just wondering what engines are fitted. The car at the moment is on 48k so should there be anything to look out for

N47 or B47D series both used during 2014. The B47 is the later (and less prone to timing chain issues) engine.

You’ll need the last 7 of the VIN (or some may need the full VIN) to get the build standard via an on line VIN decoder. That will also tell you exactly what the build spec is and what options are fitted.
