Hi all, happy new year and all that..
I recently posted a thread in this section “high mileage x5 f15 and wanted to update on my progress with the car and some pics as we all enjoy a picture 8) ( see attached)
Bought at 109k
X4 new Bridgestone tyres run flats
Transmission / transfer / both diffs services
New brake of sensors
Full dealer health check ( for the paperwork)
4 wheel alignment
Changed front grill to black
Wheels refurbed and powder coated glass black!

Still current having a slight shudder from what feels like under my seat and footwell maybe tyres needing balanced again? Had this since before the new tyres were put on. Hopeing nothing major. Seems to be above a certain speed and when braking.

Slight knock on the same side over bumps so maybe suspension arm etc will be next on the list.
Full dealer history and very highly specced! Loving her so far as long as not more money for a few month at least

Looking good, hopefully you can enjoy it for a long time without any more expense.
See you've learnt how to park it so no one can put any dints in it :D

Nice :D

Check the brake discs for run out (warping) and that the wheel to hub mating surface is clean as a bit of crud can mean a wheel not fitting properly. Warped discs or sticky callipers are known on BMWs as some of us have discovered :?

Might be also worth giving the rear prop shaft a waggle in case the centre mount is worn.

Thank you! Yes hopefully get a few years out as as I’ll be lucky to do 7-10k per year thankfully! Yes came with a manual saying if your not across 4 spaces then try again  haha I’m not that bad just for the photo 8)

Thankyou!! Yes I’ll have that checked out just to rule out another as it’s so frustrating! The prop shaft is a good shout and would make sense with the type of shuddering, will get it up on the ramps hopefully in a week or two and get to the bottom of this issue. Otherwise she is a dream! Was very useful in the snow today also as expected :D

Will update once I suss this out . Thanks again for all the advice and support! Just hit the 110k mark today which was nice
