Been looking online and see the coil spring conversion isnt expensive been thinking about doing it to mine.
Anyone any tips yes or no to get it done.

See if you can get hold of Raj on this Forum. He did his E53 some years back. There’s probably a thread from about 10 years ago around it. Send him a PM and see if he responds.

Not sure which e53 you have but it seems that most of the conversions to springs are done by the 4.8 people because of problems and the expense of repair. I have found the 4.6 rear air really reliable and that’s with the compressor sitting upright because of the lpg tank. What problem do you have or is it just a preference for springs.

No problem mate but i have read alot of problems with them so thought it would only be matter of time for me witb my luck.
Iv got a 2007 E53 3.0 diesel the last year the E53 model was made i believe.
