Been having a problem for a while now. So drive of and when car gets to temperature to switch over the engine dies. Switch gas off and engine picks up and drives normal but now have a warning light on. Took it to Dorset LPG for a diagnostics and turns out 4 of the injectors are leaking 1 quite badly so therefore the system hasn’t got enough pressure to squirt when required. Remedy is 4 new injectors but working on the principle the others probably aren’t far behind I’m going to replace them all. They are Hanna injectors and are £135 for the 8 that is if I can find somewhere that isn’t out of stock. They will have done about 130k. Not the only fault I’ve got atm. Seem to be having a bad patch. As the Alpina is still sitting on the driveway waiting for the accident repair people to come and get it I’ve had to get the VW out as the daily.

I thought that, quite surprised they are around £17 each. Fingers crossed. Got all the phone numbers lined up to call in the morning.

Our L320 Range Rover has LPG on it and for several years now it acts up. The engine temp guage only goes to 1/4, the hvac system goes haywire and the engine hunts like mad on idle. This is after circa 5 min from a cold start. Switch off and back on and everything is back to normal... Odd. I think it may be a temp sensor in the LPG bit where the coolant goes through it. Can't remember what it's called.

Got the steering wheel off today but everything looks good earths are tight. Diagnostics says steering wheel is not connecting with the ECU. Not to sure what ECU we’re talking about or the solution. Anyway managed to buy the injectors today. Hopeful they’ll be here by the weekend.
I changed the temperature sensor in the reducer a few years ago, stupidly drained the coolant only to find it’s in an enclosed position and not actually in contact with the coolant. It was about £5 and solved my intermittent switching over to gas problem.

Injectors arrived today, easy to fit, warmed up the engine and it switched over fine, idles great drives well but after a few miles the management light came on, maybe it needs to learn again.
