if only i was to get that.

So i was at a garage the other day and the secretary told me that price of fuel is going to be like £1.65 a litre by next week, she based this on the fact when they were ordering oil etc, this is what the suppliers were telling them and it's got to do with the BP mess. Got to admit I don't buy it at all, but out of curiosity anyone heard anything like this? Promise I wasn't drinking or smoking.

The price of oil makes little difference to the price we pay at the pumps. A small BP Well that wasn't even producing oil into the market means that supply is the same as it was before the disaster in the GoM. There is no reason why prices should increase at the moment..

Interesting you had 620 miles range. I recon this is the highest value that the E39/X5 OBC will display.

This is the maximum I've seen too :

And the price of petrol better not go up that high, I've got 2000 miles to drive in the next 2 weeks and £1.29 a litre for V-Power is quite enough thank you!

When I filled up my car on the way back through France 2 weeks ago I got a range showing 710 miles :D and it only cost £59 for the fill up :P :driving:

In the E39 and the E53 the maximum it will show on the BC is 620 Miles (1000KM), in the E60/E61, E70 this changed.

620 Mile range is something I haven't ever seen in my X5

I used to be able to drive the 530d and use nearly 1/4 of a tank before the 620 figure would start to drop off!
