Car sagging from one side but intermittent

Post by H4MP » Mon Jul 10, 2023 9:43 pm

Hi so I got the F15 back after the engine rebuild, I have noticed car is sagging from one side rear drivers side. Thing is Sometimes it doesn't overnight and then on ocassions it sags within minutes. I have ordered the air bags, but don't understand why it's intermittent.

To add to this the bags I ordered are Aerosus, anyone have any experience with these?

Arnott are a quality airbag , that's what I fitted you can usually tell by the price how long it will last  If mine sat pointing down the hill on a level slope it would go down quickly , on a cambered slope if the left side was compressed it didn't seem to go down anywhere near as quick or even at all sometimes . I guess it's got to do with if the bit that's being folded as the fold moves depending on ride height is where the cracks are or not

That's a fair point Arnott will be better. What about Aerosus? I just spent £7200 on an engine rebuild, thought save some money on the bags went for aerosus

I'm not sure about aerosus a quick google suggest they have a 2 years guarantee , look to see if they feel as thick as the originals as that's usually a sign of quality . Seen ones guys in America were fitting and they were so flimsy and later utube episodes said they burst in a short time . The price they said was just silly cheap so it was to be expected. Arnott are about 160 each on ebay
