Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced Edition currently supports NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 and AMD’s FSR 3.1 technologies, but the adoption of the latest DLSS 4 and FSR 4 upscaling features is still in progress and not officially integrated yet GTA 5 Modded Accounts.
Although GTA 5 Enhanced officially supports DLSS 3, users have discovered ways to enable DLSS 4 through unofficial methods. By using NVIDIA Profile Inspector and manually switching to the DLSS 4 Transformer model (specifically Preset K), players can activate DLSS 4’s advanced AI upscaling features, which offer better image quality and performance than DLSS 3. However, this requires some technical steps, including replacing DLL files and registry tweaks, and is mostly suitable for single-player campaign mode. Using DLSS 4 in GTA Online is riskier due to anti-cheat protections, and direct official support from Rockstar is not yet available.
AMD’s FSR 4, launched in March 2025, is exclusive to RDNA 4 GPUs like the Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT and brings AI-driven image upscaling similar to DLSS 4. Despite FSR 4’s release and its inclusion in over 30 games at launch, GTA 5 Enhanced is currently only recognized as an FSR 3.1 title. It has not been whitelisted in AMD’s Adrenalin driver for FSR 4 support yet, meaning that attempts to enable FSR 4 through drivers do not work properly at this time. Some users have experimented with optical scaler mods to force FSR 4, but official native support and driver-level compatibility remain pending.
The delay in official DLSS 4 and FSR 4 support for GTA 5 Enhanced is partly due to the game’s age and the complexity of integrating next-gen AI upscaling tech into an older engine. Rockstar’s focus has been on maintaining stability and compatibility with existing DLSS 3 and FSR 3.1 implementations alongside ray tracing enhancements introduced in the 2023 next-gen PC update. Additionally, FSR 4’s exclusivity to RDNA 4 hardware limits its immediate applicability to a smaller subset of players.
DLSS 4 can be enabled unofficially now for GTA 5 Enhanced on PC with some technical workarounds, but official support is not yet released.FSR 4 support is expected in the future but requires AMD driver updates and Rockstar’s cooperation to whitelist GTA 5 Enhanced.Given the upgradable nature of these AI upscaling technologies buy GTA 5 Accounts, official updates could bring DLSS 4 and FSR 4 support later in 2025 as GPU drivers and Rockstar’s patches evolve.
In summary, while GTA 5 Enhanced currently runs on DLSS 3 and FSR 3.1, enthusiasts can experiment with DLSS 4 through manual tweaks, but full official support for both DLSS 4 and FSR 4 is still forthcoming and likely to arrive later in 2025 as hardware and software ecosystems mature.
