Uprated X6M

For the petrolheads with large wallets and who want a seriously quick SAV/SUV, spyshots of a new X6M with a rumoured uprated V8 producing 492bhp have appeared (they're in this weeks Autoexpress) of it being tested at the 'Ring'.

0-62 down to a mere 4.2 seconds and a big airscoop intake put in the top of the bonnet. Expect it at a motorshow shortly.

Dunno about you folks, but that is stupidly quick for a 2tonne + vehicle. My 40d is quick enough as it is with 300+ bhp!!

0 to 62 in 4.2 sounds fabulous ! 6.5 seconds or thereabouts in the X5 or X6 40d is surreal in such a large heavy car I must admit, but I certainly wouldn't mind a bit more shove at times !! I wouldn't want the fuel bills that go with it mind ...
