Hi,

I have a X5 and the front indicator blub needs changing, I had a look in the owners hand book and can't find it. Please can someone advise me how to change it.

Thanks.

Try this xoutpost link , courtesy of UCrewX5.

Remember the prefacelift cars have bayonet bulbs......many bulb info guides/sites, auto factors & even dealers get this wrong.

Dealers charge 45 mins labour if memory serves correctly.

In my experience if one goes then the other may not be far behind so maybe worth replacing as a pair. If after change it's still defective then it is likely to be the bulb holder, ( easily sourceable)

No prob's .........also reckon on getting your headlight aligned afterwards as even though careful when I last did mine it was still out of alignment slighltly.

Most local garages/mot stations will do this for you only takes a couple of mins to check plus time to position the car against the beam tester & adjust if needed , so £5 or £10 if you don't know/use the garage regularly.
