X5 Exhausts

Hi all,
i would love to have the exhausts coming out of the back like the petrol cars, i cant add slip ons as the pipes are the wrong side of the silencers. Has anybody found a simple way round this without the vast expense of a new system as there must be a market for it ?
Thanks
Paul

I bet it looks how they should, nice one.
I want to try and do it so they work, two on Fleabay do it for £299.00 ish but there has to be an easier and cheaper way.

Try and make sure that the tips extend the same distance from the underbumper as they do on the 4.6, or it looks a bit strange. There is a diesel which has been done near me and they stick out too far which really spoils the effect.

well chuffed with them, i got the stainless ends from local place that makes custom exhausts £60 the pair, had to cut them about all over to fit and it took some measureing to get right, i spent 3 hours last night and a few hours this morning doing it, who else was welding away at 9pm last night! the tips are also only 5mm one way and 3mm the other from oem size 4.8is ones so look mint. imo! :driving:
