I would like to do it too but only on an organised day not a public day-there are two many numpties that think they are the next Schumacher that go nowadays.

Oh my god! I hope that guy is ok. His wallet will have taken a beating too. I hear they charge you by the hour for every hour the Ring is closed due to your accident. And they charge to recover the car, and being air lifted as well??? I hope that guy had some pimped up travel insurance! If the conversations I've had in the pub about the Ring are to be believed, that could be £10-15,000 of costs, without even considering the car. Can anyone confirm?

But he doesn't have to pay for barriers as he seemed to miss them!

Wow!! that is an expensive day out. Like many the 'Ring' has to be a must at some stage in life for me, but would totally agree with 535 re: it being an organised event. Something like the 'M' power course would do just nicely :D

M power - that would be me then :D

What it looks like to me was that he passed the bike, the bike passed him again and he trailed it / kept up with it, but exceeded natural forces.

Sure will be expensive ...

The tt belongs to the mrs so I couldn't take it away from here

My next car will have an RS badge not an M badge

What, not the new RS Fiesta :poke: :fuelfire:

Have to say PVR the thought of rolling a roadster at the 'Ring' fills me with dread, would have to be a tin top if ever I got the chance. :fuelfire:

That's the one but I might remove the ford badge and put four rings on it for the sake of it!

All joking apart 535, it does sound like your days with the propeller badge are numbered which is a shame. Is it the 4 or 6 you are looking at?

RS4 but it hasn't even been announced yet. The dealer principle of the audi garage said he would lend me the RS5 when it comes at the end of oct and if I like that then I will put a prospective order in like I did for the x5 before the SD was even announced.

It must have the V8 of the RS5 and not a souped up version of the supercharged V6 in current S4
