Bulb Change - Embarassing Question!

Hi all,
Can't believe I am asking for advice on a bulb change, but as usual nothing on these cars is as simple as you'd hope!
Rear drivers side tail light.
Bought bulbs from Hellfrauds.
Open side hatch in boot and subwoofer from DSP system is taking up most of the space there and making it damn near impossible to get to bulb holder which doesn't want to come out by hand anyway!
I really don't want to have to start taking the car apart to do this with all the cabling in there.
Are these bulb holders supposed to twist out as the manual says as all of mine seem locked in good and tight and I don't want to break anything by forcing it.
Please help! Cheers all.

Beauty of the system is that there are no wires attached to the lights. You can take the whole light panel out and change the bulb before clipping the whole panel back in.
Just push, twist and then pull them out ...

Thanks but I wouldn't call it a beautiful system if I can't access it without disconnecting half of my stereo kit first!
How much of a push and twist is normally needed?

Not a lot of effort required.
Never removed any of my stereo to get to it? The panel is easily accessible in my car.

You need a hand like Jeremy Beadle but it can be done without taking out the DSP sub, you may have to wriggle the holder about but it should twist out, when you get it out put some Vaseline on the holder and the contacts.

Thanks, unfortunately my hands are like shovels with sausages attached.
I will try again with a little lube!

I had the entire offside rear lamp assembly replaced last week due to to the problems addressed in the attached 'How To'
Needless to say I should posted that I was having a problem before getting it replaced...Idiot
