Four lanes - Lane 1 turns right, centre two straight on, Lane 4 turns left.

Van is in lane 4, in front of a bus.....I am travelling at about 35 mph in lane 2....van decides he wants lane 1 to turn left and smash!!!

As long as your ok and damage can be fixed, although that's not the point. Gutting when some tool ruins something you've work so hard for or search for for ages.

Thanks for update.........clearly not good but sounds like it's his laibility claim wise - especially if you hopefully managed to get a witness &/or admission at scene.

Oh no! :o Glad you're OK, but.......what a real shame. Hope it all gets sorted and the other party gets clobbered.

I have to admit to thinking more and more about having some kind of 'black box camera' installed for these circumstances, but they're not easy to choose the right type. There's a few out there, but the dedicated ones could be better, and the others designed for track days aren't quite right and all seem very expensive for what they are. Might just as well plug a camcorder in with a GPS feed.

Anyone got any experience of these systems?

The recovery bloke was banging on about cars should have cameras...I totally agree...I think America are streets ahead of us in this respect.

My X is being picked up no Monday and I'm getting a Polo!
