Fix-It Friday...

Good day today went round to good old Sanj's thought I'd show him some more fixing tricks to add to his skillet.
Replaced driver door handle carrier needed to do that for sometime (£69 part). Went smooth till putting the key lock back in had to show Sanj a trick to get it to seat properly. (he knows now).
Then took apart a selt belt tensioner from a x5 seat I procured off eBay and replaced my current workaround, very easy with the right Allen key to get the seat belt off the seat. Worked perfectly.
During the above process noticed the loose wire which once connected fixed my electric steering adjustment.
For good measure took apart the memory seat module from the eBay seat and tested it in my car, working fine, so either a spare or sell on. Plus I got a bloody ripped driver seat as a spare...great.
Then usual nonsense for good measure the reverse camera was giving no video feed even though it had not been touched. Disconnected battery reset and tried again, now the monitor gave no picture at all for anything. Disconnect battery negative again wait, reconnected and everything came back up including the rear camera.
So fingers crossed everything is working now, bar the intermittent rear faulty brake sensor which I can live with till it's time to change the pads.
Sanj good work my man, teach you some more when something else breaks, rest now, hard day
