getting a bit peed off now. after waking up to my keys not operating my central locking, I now have suspension level inact light illuminated on the dash? nothing looks uneven? if i turn the ignition off and on, it dissapearsfor a while, I can drive around for a bit but when I park up it comes back on. going for a 300mile drive on friday for xmas so could really do without all this right now. Only had it back from the garage a week with the all clear so dont understand it.
any ideas what it could be?
thanks
janette

calm down £50, you need to get codes read, you might want to invest in a code reader it will pay for itself the first fault you self diagnose!

Bad weather brings out the worst in the cars. Stick with it - you'll get there. No drops in any corner seems to point to sensor as Shadrack suggests. If you can stretch to a reader that will help you in the future (the cars are getting on a bit and these thing will creep in).
Put it on your Christmas list!
And good luck, hope it's a small outlay.
PS - We should get mods in for the calendar too!

Where are you based? You might have a friendly forum peer that can read codes for you. You want BMW scanner 1.4.0. I got mine for around £35 from china... Can't search at the moment I'm on mobile

Keys not working...suspension gremlins etc etc,.. Could this be a battery issue I wonder?

thanks dirtymonkey29
I was thinking it maybe the battery regarding the key issue, i took it for a short run earlier and now one set of keys locked the door, how would that be relevent to the suspension issue though?

Voltage spikes throwing random faults and other oddities... Only speculating though. Also it's that time of year when extra pressure is put on the electrical system. I've only really picked up on the suspension issue and central locking issue you've had recently... Has there been anything else?
