Well after 4 years of ownership, today I found out that the TV in my car has digital channels ! I feel like a right plumb tbh, as for the 4 years of ownership, I've only ever had the normal 5 channels and a very bad reception at that, however, today I decided to watch the TV and had 39 digital channels available to view, so is this as a result of me changing the battery and obviously resetting everything or because the analogue has been turned off and it's defaulted to digital or am I being completely dumb and there's a more obvious answer ??? please excuse my ignorance as I'm usually quite clued up but this ones got me thinking!

your 06 car would have def been fitted with a digital tuner as standard.
depending on where you live and if the analogue has recently been turned off maybe it has decided it likes the digital channels now.
here in devon its been digital only for a couple of years and i dont rate the reception in the car at all unless on top of a hill'
a toy i definately wouldn't splash out for if i was buying new!

Thanks fenj, I was just shocked as I've never seen anything before apart from the 5 channels but the reception now shows a perfect picture too!

Time to get the 'TV in motion' cable fitted ;0)

Don't need a cable to get tv in motion, which is crap by the way. Only handy when your stuck in traffic to keep the kids happy and saves you having to pull on the handbrake when your rolling, also illegal for obvious reasons
