dont get the xtron ones with fm transmitters. As soon as you turn them on you'll lose a lot of radio reception.

I got these from amazon! Really crisp picture. Works great with 10 disc DVD changer!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0015H7 ... 122&sr=8-1

Only major problem was routing the wires around the car! Had to remove the rear console and managed to hide everything under there!

Took power from the rear cigarette lighter socket and retrofitted a switch into the console to kill the power to the screens and changer!

All in all quite a tidy job! Will post pics tomorrow.

Hi, I'm glad I stumbled into this site. I just bought a 2003 X5 with DVD/playstation monitors in the headrests. Only problem is that there is no power going to the screens. Nothing happens when I press the 'power' button on either of them. Where will I start looking for the source of power to these. The previous owner has fitted a new touchscreen aftermarket satnav/dvd/phone etc. and I'm wondering if the monitors were originally powered from a switch on the original head unit ?
By the way,.. the playstation unit powers up no problem at the rear bootspace.
I noticed too that the 6 disc multichanger in the rear does not power up either (but thats a differant matter )
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated,

Jonny
