Anyone got a wing mirror cover spare for the passenger side in sterling grey? Facelift on a 54 plate.

Nah... It had a small chunk missing from it when I bought it and it's fallen off a couple of times when I wash the car. Washed it yesterday and it fell off and cracked in half. I've got it held on with some elastic bands. No scrappers have one in the same colour. I can only get new in primer. Wonder what it'll cost to get it sprayed up.

how much is the one you can get new in primer, just curious as I may need to replace my passenger side one...

Well I went through partsgateway, quarry motors was more than the dealer and another place was the same as main dealer. So I ordered from main dealer for collection tomorrow £65 in primer. They do them painted for £126.60. I've found a place that will spray it and colour match for £35 and it's a same day service. Need a wing mirror motor now. Mine works fine but when it dips when I go in reverse it doesnt return to its original setting when I take it out of reverse

You might not, it may just be sticking. If you get behind the mirror where the plastic housing is (hiding the 4 pivot points) a bit of WD40 can work.

Posted this a while back. Might help. :)

Common issue. As Sanj say, a few minutes are TLC and they usually recover their original functionality. You'd be surprised how much dust and cr@p gets in there. :x

Ive given it a spray or two before and it usually cures it for a while. Planning on a good strip down at the weekend to get right into it and see how worn it is etc.
